FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Below you will find answers to the questions we get most often about working with Majortale. If your question is not here, reach out at [email protected]. We usually reply the same business day.

How much does a project cost?

Every project is different, so we don't publish fixed rates. Quickest way to know: hop on a 20-minute call, tell us what you're trying to do, and we'll give you a realistic range right then. A detailed proposal lands in your inbox within 24 hours.

How long does a project take to complete?

Depends on the scope. A quick social shoot can turn around in one to two weeks. A brand film or a full campaign usually runs four to eight weeks from kick-off to delivery. We map out the exact timeline together before anything gets locked in.

What if we're not exactly sure what we need yet? Can we get advice?

Most clients walk in with a goal and no finished brief. That's normal. The first call exists to figure out what you actually need, not to confirm what you already decided. Twenty minutes of conversation usually gets you to a much sharper picture, and you walk away with a real recommendation whether you end up working with us or not.

Do you handle scripting and concept, or just the shoot?

We handle the full process. Strategy, scripting, storyboarding, shoot, editing, colour grading, delivery. You don't need to arrive with a finished brief. Most clients come to us with a goal and we take it from there.

How many feedback rounds are included?

Up to four feedback rounds are included as standard. We structure the process so that major direction decisions happen early at concept and rough cut. The later rounds stay focused on small refinements rather than structural changes.

What formats do you deliver in?

Every format you need. Landscape (16:9), square (1:1), vertical (9:16), and any custom dimensions your platforms require. Short and long versions included where applicable. All files export-ready for Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and broadcast.

Can one shoot day produce content for multiple channels?

Yes. That's how we plan every shoot. One well-organised day produces a brand film, social clips, job videos, and BTS content simultaneously. We think about distribution before we pick up a camera, so every shot has a destination.

How quickly do we receive the photos after the shoot?

Most shoots deliver a curated selection of retouched images within 5 business days. Larger projects, full corporate shoots or high-volume events, typically take 7 to 10 business days. Rush delivery is available on request.

How many photos do we get?

Depends on the shoot type. A headshot session delivers 2 to 3 retouched portraits per person. An event shoot typically produces 80 to 150 curated images. A content day delivers 30 to 50+ varied images ready for social, web, and marketing use. We agree on expected output before every shoot.

Do you handle styling and location scouting?

We give every client styling guidance before the shoot: what to wear, how to prepare, and how to set up the space. For larger productions that need a dedicated stylist or a scouted location, we arrange that as part of the project scope. Mention it during the brief and we build it into the plan.

What file formats and resolution do you deliver?

High-resolution JPG and any other format you need, in both web-optimised and print-resolution versions. Images are colour-graded, retouched, and organised by shoot category so they're immediately usable across every channel.

What does a campaign include?

Every campaign includes a strategy phase, content production, and distribution. A focused social campaign delivers an agreed asset set with performance reporting through the live phase. A full multi-channel campaign covers creative concept, scripting, shoot days, editing, paid media management, targeting, and performance reporting. One team handles it all, and the deliverable set and scope are agreed before kick-off.

How long does a campaign take to launch?

Most campaigns take 4 to 8 weeks from kick-off to first live content, depending on scope. A focused social content campaign can launch in 3 to 4 weeks. A full multi-channel campaign with video, photography, and paid distribution typically runs 6 to 12 weeks. Share your go-live date early and we'll plan backwards from there.

What do participants walk away with?

Every workshop ends with a concrete, usable deliverable. Depending on the format: a written content strategy built around your brand and current content situation, a set of developed campaign concepts with storyboards and copy direction, a production briefing template you can hand to any team, or a platform-specific posting plan. Something your team acts on the next day, without Majortale in the room.

How long does a workshop run?

Half a day for more focused sessions (social media, video briefing, content planning) and a full day for broader strategy or creative workshops. We'll recommend the right format based on your goals during the intake call.

Can workshops be customised for our brand?

Yes, always. Ahead of the session we review your existing communications, recent campaigns, and current content situation. On the day, your brand and your specific challenges are the working material from the first minute. There are no generic case studies or outside examples brought in. The prep is what makes it immediately useful.

What types of workshops do you offer?

Six types: strategy workshops, storytelling workshops, creative workshops, social media workshops, video briefing workshops, and content planning workshops. Strategy and creative formats run a full day. Social media, video briefing, and content planning sessions run a half day. Group sizes range from small leadership teams to full company sessions; we have run workshops for groups of 10 to 450 people. Every session ends with a deliverable your team can act on the next day.See all workshops here.

Who is the 2.0 Upgrade for?

Mid-sized companies, typically 15 to 200 employees, with an active marketing function but inconsistent visual content. If you're spending budget on ads and campaigns but keep running out of good imagery and video to use, the 2.0 Upgrade solves that at the foundation level.

Who in our company can use the Collection?

Everyone. The Collection is delivered colour-graded, organised into logical folders, and formatted for every tool: Canva, PowerPoint, Premiere, iMovie, or a smartphone. A marketer, an intern, a salesperson, or a founder can open the library and produce something that looks professionally made within minutes. No editing knowledge required.

How do I reach out to you?

A few ways, whatever works best for you. Send us a message via the contact form here. Prefer something faster? Send us a WhatsApp directly here. Or skip the back-and-forth and book a call directly into our agenda here.

What happens after I reach out?

Regardless of the type of project, we always start with a kick-off call. That's where we get to know your goals, your audience, and what you're trying to achieve. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes and gives us everything we need to put together a relevant proposal. No obligations, no pressure. Just a real conversation.

How do I get a quote?

The best way to get an accurate quote is through an intake call. Every project is different, so we don't publish fixed rates. On the call we'll understand exactly what you need and give you a realistic range on the spot, followed by a detailed proposal within 24 hours. Book your intake call here.

Do you come up with creative concepts?

Yes, that's where most projects start with us. If the concept is already locked with another agency, we produce it from there. If it does not exist yet, we develop the whole thing with you: strategy, angle, and storyboard. Both routes work.

Do you do advertising?

We don't do paid advertising as a service. The exception is personal branding: we write and schedule organic LinkedIn content for founders and executives ourselves. For everything else, a specialised ads agency handles the paid distribution. We have produced creative for more than 100 partner agencies, so we know exactly what assets perform in their hands.

What types of videos do you produce?

Commercial videos tied to a specific goal. We deliver a master cut plus the platform versions your channels need, typically landscape (16:9), square (1:1), and vertical (9:16). Across formats: brand films, testimonials, social content series, aftermovies, job videos, explainer videos, ad creative, recruitment campaigns, training videos, and podcast video. Every shoot starts from what the video needs to accomplish, then we work backwards into the right format and length.

How quickly do we receive the final videos?

A first version of everything lands one week after the shoot. For events we usually deliver the same day or the day after, so you can post while the moment is still warm. Larger productions with multiple cutdowns roll out over the following two to three weeks.

How far in advance do I need to book?

For most shoots, one to two weeks notice is enough. Events, content days, or larger corporate productions, three to four weeks is ideal. Spring and autumn fill up fast. That said, we sometimes have last-minute openings, especially for campaigns, so reach out anyway. Worst case we say no. Get in touch here.

Do you manage the paid advertising as well?

We don't do paid buying. There are agencies built specifically for that and they are better at it than we would be. What we bring is more than 100 campaigns of experience producing creative alongside those agencies. We build the assets, they handle targeting and spend.

Can we start small before committing to a full campaign?

Yes. A focused starting point typically looks like a social content day (which delivers 30 to 50+ production-ready images), a recruitment video series from one shoot day, or a single employer branding shoot. These are contained, fast-to-launch projects that let you see how we work before committing to a larger campaign. Scope and timeline are agreed before anything is confirmed.

Do you do employer branding campaigns?

Yes, it's one of the things we excel at. If you're looking to hire steadily over the next year or two, employer branding done right pays for itself many times over. We've run these for Lidl, Wit-Gele Kruis, Federale Politie, and others. Reach out and we'll walk you through what we'd build for you.

How many people can attend a workshop?

We've run workshops for ten people and for four hundred and fifty. The format flexes. That said, we believe the value goes up as the group gets more focused, because each person walks away with something they can actually use the next day. We'll recommend the right size based on what you're trying to achieve.

What is the 2.0 Upgrade exactly?

It's a one or two day shoot that delivers everything you'd otherwise spend a year producing in fragments. We know exactly what a company needs to power marketing, sales, and leadership over the next twelve months. The brand essentials, the product content, the leader-led pieces, the ad creative. All produced together, all color-graded, all delivered as a full library afterwards so your team can use it in Canva, PowerPoint, Premiere, or whatever they live in. One production, a year of content.

How long does the 2.0 production take?

One or two shoot days, followed by three to five weeks of post-production. The exact timeline depends on scope, which we map out in full before anything gets confirmed.

Do we own everything that gets produced?

Completely. Every frame captured belongs to you. No licensing fees, no restrictions, no dependency on Majortale for future use. The Collection becomes a permanent company asset that compounds in value as you add more material over time. We work all over the world too, so if your team is split across regions, we can shoot in multiple locations and bundle the assets into the same library. Our HQ is in Antwerp, Belgium, and we run local crews across Europe and beyond.
